Having worked as Trompe L’Oeil artists for a number of years trained in the age old methods of glazing, gilding and faux finishes I find myself often overlapping these techniques onto works on canvas.

My art is characterized by colour and texture, I enjoy experimenting with various media, applying the knowledge gained in traditional application to the new exciting paints and media now available - intermingling the two schools to achieve the image I am trying to capture. 

 I like to allow paint to flow freely, tipping & wedging the canvas to guide it through the gullies and rivulets I sculpt onto the background, I like the intermingling of the colours and diffferent media. I often use metal leaf as a base to allow the translucent glazes to reflect through, so you are looking at colour through colour. 

Simon's art is more photorealistic, with exacting brushwork in oils and acrylics, his sculptures are in many media, often fibreglass, both large and small scale and range from indoor water features to large scale outdoor works. Custom made lighting and furniture pieces, from shelving through to tables.

  I consider Interior decoration and design to be an extension of an artists canvas. Our speciality is Art For Interiors,
